  • 쿠팡 인하우스 법무팀에 합류하여 환경, 보건, 안전에(EHS) 관한 전사적 법무 및 컴플라이언스 지원을 중점적으로 수행하며, EHS에 관한 법무 및 컴플라이언스 팀을 구축합니다. 구체적으로는 쿠팡 FC와 물류 운영, 각 오피스에 다양한 EHS 관련 주제에 대한 자문을 제공하며, 쿠팡의 EHS 조직장과 긴밀한 협력이 필요합니다. 

 

  • The successful applicant will join Coupang’s in-house legal team, with a focus on providing Company-wide environmental, health and safety (“EHS”) legal and compliance support, and building an EHS legal and compliance function. In particular, the applicant will be responsible for counseling the Company’s fulfilment center and logistics operations, and office locations, on a broad range of EHS related topics, and will be required to work closely with the Company’s Head of EHS and the Head of Health & Safety Audit.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • FC, 캠프, 기타 물류 운영과 오피스를 포함한 모든 사업장에 걸쳐 EHS 정책과 절차 설계, 개발, 도입 등 EHS팀의 업무 지원 
  • 컴플라이언스 관련 일반 자문, 예정된 EHS 규제 변경 모니터링 및 관련 자문을 현업에 제공, 컴플라이언스 정책/절차 개발 및 개선, EHS 컴플라이언스 보장을 위해 여러 팀에 교차적 업무 지원, EHS 컴플라이언스와 관련하여 발생하는 문제 해결, EHS 관련 사안의 소송 전 법적 분쟁 및 조사 담당 
  • 위기 상황을 포함한 EHS 관련 사건 대응 절차 개발 및 도입 
  • Policy 및 Regulatory Compliance팀과 긴밀히 협력하여 EHS 관련 사안에 관한 정부 또는 규제 조치와 조사에 대응 
  • EHS 교육 프로그램의 개발 및 이행에 대한 EHS팀 지원 
  • EHS팀과 긴밀히 협력하여 회사의 EHS 정책과 절차 준수 여부에 대한 모니터링 및 감사 시스템과 프로세스 개발 
  • 필요한 리소스를 파악하고 예산 집행 등을 실행하여 EHS 관련 법무 및 준법 팀 구축

 

  • Support the EHS function in designing, developing and implementing EHS policies and procedures across all sites including fulfillment centers, camps and other logistics operations, and office sites. Familiar with Korean EHS regulations including KOSHA.  
  • Day-to-day advice on compliance issues, monitoring and advising the business of upcoming EHS regulatory changes, developing and improving compliance policies and procedures, working cross-functionally across teams to ensure EHS compliance, resolving issues that arise in EHS compliance areas, and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries relating to EHS matters.  
  • Develop and implement procedures for responding to EHS-related incidents including crisis.  
  • Work closely with the Policy and Regulatory teams in responding to government or regulatory actions and investigations relating to EHS matters.  
  • Support the EHS team in the development and rollout of EHS training programs.  
  • Work closely with the EHS team to develop systems and processes to monitor and audit compliance against the Company’s EHS policies and procedures.  
  • Develop an EHS legal and compliance function, including identifying and executing on, resourcing needs.   

자격요건 (Qualifications):

  • 한국 변호사 자격증 
  • 한국어 또는 영어 구사 (또는 둘 다) 
  • 자격 취득 후 최소 8-12년의 EHS 법무 및 컴플라이언스 분야 법률 경력 
  • HR분야, 특히 산업안전보건법 관련하여 특화된 법률 자문 경력 
  • 창의적이며 세심하게 비즈니스 중심의 결과를 꾸준히 달성하여 빠르게 움직이고 강도 높은 업무 환경에서 성장과 리스크의 적절한 균형을 유지하는 탁월한 능력   
  • 빠르고 다양한 비즈니스 변화에 쉽게 적응할 수 있는 능력 
  • 뛰어나고 효과적인 구두 및 서면 커뮤니케이션 능력 
  • 법적 해결책 구축 및 이행에 관한 뛰어난 판단력 

 

  • Legal qualification in Korea.  
  • Fluency in Korean or English (or both)  
  • At least 8-12 years of post-qualification legal experience in EHS legal and compliance field.   
  • Exceptional ability to consistently deliver creative, thoughtful and business-oriented results that appropriately balance growth and risk in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. 
  • Ability to adapt easily to rapid and diverse business changes. 
  • Strong and effective communication skills, both oral and written. 
  • Sound judgment in developing and implementing legal solutions.


우대사항 (Preferred Qualifications):

  • 제조업, FC, 물류 및/또는 이커머스 업계 경력 
  • 인하우스 및 로펌 경력을 모두 보유 

 

  • Manufacturing, fulfilment center, logistics and/or e-commerce industry experience.  
  • Mixture of in-house and law firm experience.
